Randstad is partnering with a prominent Federal Government agency in the disability sector, to recruit multiple experienced APS5 Quality Officers. This is an opportunity to drive quality and compliance within a world-leading scheme, ensuring the integrity of the end-to-end participant journey.

***The Opportunity:

As an APS5 Quality Officer, you will be integral to the Quality Assurance and Improvement team. Your core focus will be to audit operational activities, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with NDIS legislation and internal policies.

***Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute moderately complex quality reviews and file audits on NDIS planning decisions.
  • Apply the NDIS Act and "Reasonable and Necessary" frameworks to assess and validate decision-making.
  • Provide professional, technical commentary, and evidence-based feedback to frontline staff to enhance planning practices.
  • Utilise analytical thinking to identify key trends, risks, and areas for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and track workflow using systems including PACE, SAP CRM, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Translate complex legislative and technical jargon into clear, accessible communication for diverse stakeholders.

***What You'll Bring:

  • Analytical and Reflective Thinking: Proven ability to assess complex issues, draw logical conclusions, and identify the 'why' behind decisions.
  • Legislative and Technical Knowledge: A sound understanding of NDIS supports, government policy frameworks, and the "Reasonable and Necessary" criteria.
  • Systems Proficiency: Experience with large-scale CRM platforms (ideally PACE) and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to write clear, concise reports and communicate complex information effectively.
  • Adaptability: Proven capacity to manage competing priorities and thrive in a dynamic, shifting environment.
  • Experience: Prior experience in quality control, audit, or NDIS planning is highly desirable.

  • Selection: Candidates who reach the interview stage will be required to complete a Work Sample Assessment Case Study to demonstrate technical and analytical proficiency.
